For evaluation of plate effects to metabol … For evaluation of plate effects to metabolite change, we performed ANOVA. The three-WAY ANOVA (genotype, plates and treatment) for each light conditions. We could not observe significance difference by plate effect in general, but we observed few specific compounds exhibiting a plate effect such as methionine-derived glucosinolates (3-methylsulfinyl propyl glucosinolate, 4-methylsulfinylbutyl glucosinolate, 4-methylthiobutyl glucosinolate and 5-methylsulfinylpentyl glucosinolate) in the time point at 24h (p<0.05). Metabolite changes which were given by the plate effect were discarded from the analysis. e effect were discarded from the analysis.
