The f3gt (At5g17050) mutant and f3rt (At1g30530) mutants were described previously. The T-DNA-inserted knockout mutant of omt1 (At5g54160, CS25167) and tt7 (At5g07990, CS6509) were obtained from the Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center (ABRC). The tt4 (At1g30530) mutant was obtained from tt mutant lines induced by ion beam irradiation of Arabidopsis. The plants were cultured on Murashige and Skoog (MS)-agar medium containing 1 % sucrose in a growth chamber at 22 °C in 16 h/8 h light/dark cycles for 18 days. The leaves and roots of plants were harvested, immediately frozen with liquid nitrogen, and stored at –30 °C until use. nitrogen, and stored at –30 °C until use.
